Observation details
I observed what I believe was courtship between this pair, but I also think they are visiting a probable nest site. I have, until today, known there was at least one BBCU in this area. Today I heard one call, and located it. I watched for several minutes. A second bird came out and followed the first one. I didn't notice until I looked at the photos on the computer, that the one that called was carrying a tiny caterpillar. Since that is part of their courtship ritual, I am reporting this as 'C Probable'. I do suspect they are visiting a probable nesting site, as they keep flying in to a large willow shrub, but will keep an eye on this area as it's on my property.
