Observation details
First heard rattling coming from the marsh and first thought Winter Wren. After getting a better angle with the setting sun, it was clearly a Marsh Wren hunkered down in the reeds. I believe this is the first county record of this species for the month of January. Prominent white eye stripe with rufous wings and back, pale throat. Recording TBA. Exact location where I had the bird: (41.7379543, -73.2022657)
