Observation details
The one photo I obtained is unidentifiable. This bird who is hawking insects while perching on equipment, was a typical say's: slightly larger than eastern, peak-headed, salmon orange on the belly, plain brownish gray, with faint wing bars above, slightly paler below. This bird was unstreaked below, with no face pattern, thus eliminating possibility of more expected, shorter-tailed, bolder patterned female vermillion flycatcher. According to ebird, this is a new species for Terrebonne, so all attempts should be made to better document it.
