Continuing here from the CBC last month. I kept an eye out for them around the original spot for awhile but had no luck. But then at the last minute at a different spot (northern part of the park by a big sycamore tree) I spotted a trio of sparrows that turned out to be the Chippings! Record shots attached (dull lighting and poor angles, but line through eye and clear breast still visible):
