Call of Blyth's Pipit (different bird)
Observation details
Initially heard a strong but not buzzy call, sounding more like Tawny or Richard's than Blyth's, and noted a fairly large and long-tailed pipit in flight. On the ground, large bill, less gentle head shape than Blyth's (two of which were seen briefly in the same area), pale lores and open face impression, not as strong streaking above. Appeared large-bellied on one occasion, always relatively long-tailed, and didn't show typical Blyth's jizz (as the other birds did). Always easy to pick out this individual on structure. Seen several times, flew short distances but landed in same general area. Recorded calls probably all of this bird.
