Observation details
I arrived at noon and had my sighting in less than 30 minutes with the help of two other birders. Amazingly they had found it in 10 minutes after they arrived. We had it in sight for about an hour. Only about a dozen bird watchers were out today due to the cool damp weather. The birds location started in the cat tails in the NE corner of the cove. It then flew across the cove to the east side of the short dike. After awhile it walked across the dike to the west side. It was last seen at the boarded viewing platform. At any location it stayed in the cat tails at the mud and water boundary. I will post pictures soon.
