****Mega! 9th state (and 3rd Kern County!🤯) record pending CBRC acceptance. Originally (visually) lpcated by dessi who called us over to the odd (alder-looking) eye-ringed traills. We relocated it, all agreeing it looked like a good alfl candidate (but still not positive about eastern willow) taped it and it eventually called in response (first a reeeea! Note then pip calls), confirming the ID. Many audio recordings followed and we were joined by Ryan Terrill who got better ones. And some photos.
