NOTES: LNS Note: Unbroken cut with internal recordist announcement gain change (MJA,4Feb2005). (Gen. Climate: Humid. Cover Density: Thick.) [The first part of this recording begins with a series of Clucks (0;0455-0:07) followed by two Cackles (0:095-0:13, 0:17-0:225) of G. chloropus (following BNA), but I am not sure whether the single Cackle in the second part (0:305-0:37) is that of Gallinula or Porphyruls martinica. Quality changed from 3-2 to 3 (the calls and songs of Cacicus are so loud that one can hardly hear the Gallinula) - CAM - 3 March 2005] LNS: Subject changed from Gallinula chloropus to G. galeata to reflect current taxonomy. -Matt Medler, 14 Sept 2011. Number of individuals=AU1-2;. Habitat: Wetland, Evergreen Forest, Lake, Edge.
