Observation details
*rare. Three adult males and a female mixed in with the Dresser’s. All three males had brighter orange bill lobes that were shorter, narrower, and pointier than Dresser’s; green feathering was restricted to the nape leaving stark white cheeks under the eye. Female had narrow bill lobes, shorter than normal Dresser’s but not incredibly so, and also not quite pointed; we’re entering as borealis but with the understanding that it may be an intergrade or even the very extreme of Dresser’s?
