Observation details

All on the water. One family of six with two adults and four juveniles; one of the adults was wing-tagged. While all I could see of the tag was "K9", with the last number obscured, it seems likely that this is bird K93 which I observed on Dec 31 2020 not a far distance away in the same family group. Another adult pair with one wing-tagged (X17) bird swam from the big lake under the bridge to the creek. There was also a solitary individual with no visible tags not far away. This individual was driven off by mute swans. None of the birds were feeding so I couldn't see if any had leg bands.
