Observation details
Grey black rounded beak, discolored but only very slightly pink between eyes and beak, crest pokes out from back of head when closed but not in a pronounced fashion, and flashes some yellow when open which I cannot find in any Tanimbar Corella pictures on line. Seems to be 1-2 centimeters bigger than a Tanimbar corella too. Found near two nesting Tanimbar corellas and have seen it before in this area. I think it may be a hybrid because the Yellow cockatoo features are not as pronounced (Beak not exactly as dark, crest not as exhibiting as much yellow. Put Sp. because not sure how to classify this one. Either way, e-bird is marking it as rare.
