Observation details
Seen on breakwater earlier, followed over to Fales. Buoyant alcid motoring around the harbor. Clean black above, white below; white throat, thin black collar, pointy bill. At one point attacked and chased above and below water by a common loon. More details: First noticed that the bill shape was more pointed than a thicker RAZO bill. No white markings present on the bill. Black head with white cheeks/throat. Upper parts black including nape, mantle, rump, and tail. No extensive white behind the eye (only below) ruling out COMU.
