Observation details

The journey to Tupper Lake was a success with this major rarity! Small dark bill, wedged tail, dark "M" on extended wings, gray back, (1st winter Ross's Gull!) Amazing! Thank you to all those who helped locate the bird and for the patient residents of Tupper Lake who put up with the crowds.
