Observation details
2 birds present in snags across from Lawrence Creek Trailhead. Frequently interacting. Fly catching throughout afternoon. First sighted at 425, present at 815 when I left. Two larger flycatchers with overall dark appearance, darker sides of chest with contrasting white down the middle of the chest. White throat. White patches noted on lower back of birds when wings moving appropriately. Large bill, pointed crest. No Vocalizations. Originally found by myself, I was able to get Don Gorney, Nick Kiehl and Ryan Hamilton on the birds.
