Observation details
An injured bird beached. No obvious external injuries after speaking with Charli from Seabird Patrol, who I am a volunteer for, bird was collected to be treated for suspected internal parasites and fractured wing. This morning taken up to the Houston rehab center. Bird had lots of fight was skinny not flying and according to Charli it is very common to see internal parasites in Gannets that end up taking such a toll on these birds after time until they beach themselves and pass away or be consumed. I collected bird in front of the twin tower condos down heading towards Apfell
