Observation details
*rare; flyover with small lark flock. Flock was flying north over the cornfield on the west side of Blandy Farm Lane just south of Rattlesnake Spring. Non vocal and not picked out of the flock until I looked at my photos and noticed a slightly different shape, lighting the photos afterwards confirmed my suspicions and revealed a longspur. Slightly stockier than larks, photos show more triangular bill, buffy face, more rufous tones on upperparts, faint wingbar, darker flanks, and auricular brace. First Clarke county record on eBird.
