Observation details
Hopping under the bushes and along the cobblestone path in front of Vishalakshi Mantap. This individual had a rather heavier bill and slender elongated build, as opposed to the fine pointed bill and compact, round build typical of Booted Warbler. However, the pale edges to the primaries rule out Blyth's Reed Warbler in favour of Iduna sp. This individual was observed spending more time on the ground and among the lower branches, which strongly suggests Iduna caligata (Booted Warbler) as opposed to Iduna rama (Syke's Warbler).
