Media notes
Two cuts of a male Blue-eyed Ground-Dove that is sitting about 9’ off the ground in a sparse shrub at 880m at the reserve. Every time he makes a note, his tail tips forward and then back. It’s early morning and still pleasantly cool (probably 75F in the sun) and completely sunny and absolutely calm. This may have been the same individual as the first one recorded (at 6:32am), but we weren’t sure. Background includes: Peach-fronted Parakeets, House Wren, Pale-vented Pigeon, Pale-breasted Thrush, et al. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
