Media notes

Begging calls of well developed Greater Double-collared Sunbird nestling from a small ravine at edge of the path. Adults were returning to feed the young.

Observation details

Young bird giving high pitched calls from from ground in small channel by path. Fully feathered and perhaps close to flying. Not clear if has fallen out of nest. Both male and female parents coming to the chick and feeding it.
