Scissor-tailed Flycatcher, Pitts Ranch Park, CA - 21 Dec 2020
Observation details
Continuing bird found yesterday on the Thousand Oaks CBC. It sat for long periods nearly motionless in the sycamore trees outside the office building near the park. It would feed in the fruiting trees in the lot with Cassin's Kingbirds and others. Pale grayish kingbird-sized flycatcher with a long forked tail, peach-colored wash on the belly, and darker pink underwing coverts.
