Observation details
Yellow-billed Loon was first observed on Gooding County side of Snake River. It then swam to the Twin Falls County side of the river where it was observed by many. Loon with large bill that appeared ivory to pale yellow depending on lighting conditions. Definitely no dark tip on bill. The loon often held its bill slightly pointed up. Loon was light overall, with white extending around the eye. I have added one poor photo; YBLO is on far right side of photo. Best photos are in checklist for Gooding County side of river.
