Observation details
Continuing from yesterday. Extensive white on front and sides of neck, and cheeks, extending to eye. Slim dark bill, generally pointed upward. Largely gray back with no large white markings. Was sleeping for the first 10 minutes of my visit, then was cooperative for the remainder, swimming, preening and only diving once.
