Observation details
Lifer!!! (A) See vids/pics. 2m, 2f. Found at 12h20. Feeding & observed for 36mins preferring only 3-4 Acacia trees (not prosopis juliflora, need to ID tree to sp level, upright, leaner, longer/thicker thorns, smaller leaves compared fo prosopis). See SRs soft 'pip pip' calls of pair while feeding (call no. 14). Also, a bout of rapid trills prob part of song from one male (call no. 13), excited just after changing perch. Very hard to sound record. 'pip pip' calls while feeding/hawking/perching-back very soft and faint. Usually when birds changed trees or flew in flight then this 'pip pip' call would be uttered louder (see SRs). (B) Relocated the same flock (same 2m,2f) at 14h50 on the main road (short off bend) - so they had covered/hung about in this patch of forest for at least 2.5 hours.
