Observation details
Possibly my favourite birding moment of the Eaglehawk portion of the trip was watching the perfectly plump little female Flame Robins, with the creamy wing bars and the warm, matte plumage... and then, as I went for my stroll, I was delighted when one of these birds chased off the other, and then flitted to sit in the gorgeous evening light right in front of me, tail slicking and feet shuffling as it flickered from side to side!!
