Media notes
Two cuts of the same Nocturnal Curassow(s) singing spontaneously from the canopy of terra firme forest along the E.O.Wilson Trail at Shiripuno on a starlit night. It is counter-singing with a distant bird. We weren't sure who was responsible for the higher-pitched, hollow whistle--possibly a young one (per Fernando) or possibly a bird that is anxious about our proximity. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
