Observation details
Possibly an under estimate. Three square mile area in total. Just under 3,000 acres of habitat available for waterfowl within this area. Virtually filled with birds, primarily AMCO and RNDU, with RUDU and COGA scattered about in good numbers as well. Estimated conservatively 15-20,000 birds in total. Many areas were actually dominated by RNDU. Extrapolated/estimated for numbers of COGA.
