Observation details
Immature in the stream. According to locals, this bird has been present for 1-2 weeks. Large cormorant similar to Double-crested but having anterior point of feathering at midpoint on ventral side of gular pouch; thick bill and thick legs; dark breast with coarse white streaks down abdomen. Very rare for December and rare inland.
