Observation details
An immature male SNOW with P1, P2 and P3 molting seen in #260 and #245. This is the latest record for Snowy Owl during my 20 plus years. It actually showed up 5 days ago according to Jim. That makes it MAY 5 2016. It appears to be stronger today according to Jim. These shots were taken as the bird took a dive off the pole and back again. Like he was stretching his wings, getting some exercise. The bird has been observed and photographed diving to the ground coming up empty. I wish him well. Live long and prosper!
