Observation details
Small dark green empid. Back a dark olive green. Back appeared to a bit lighter than the head. Faint oval shaped eye ring. Not as distinct seeming as a COFL or PSFL. Bill dark above and pale below. First found sitting on the nest. Every few minutes would get up and shift positions. After about 15 minutes the bird left the nest, preened for a few minutes and then foraged along the creek. Returned to the nest after about 15 to 20 minutes. Repeated this twice ore while we were they. Called very softly on occasion when foraging. Sounds was a soft 'whit'.
