Observation details
Intermediate 2CY (a ‘true’ Thumlien’s) with translucent primaries + secondaries, finely patterned wing covs, and rounded head. Structurally it fit a bit better for Thayer’s, although the head is fairly rounded and the bill is short. I don’t think Thayer’s is out of the question (tentatively). The tail was solid light brown with very few internal marking near the base. I would like to see less of a tail band and a mirror on P10 to be confident in calling it a kumlieni.
