Observation details
Spent most of the initial hour working the property at 113 Shore Dr. Another group of birders was at the sharp turn to the south. After about an hour the other group called to tell us that they had the bird at 120 Shore Dr. It was working the interior of one of two cedars in front of the house. It would go into the tree and disappear for a bit, then reappear. We kept track of it for at least twenty minutes during which it moved to the other cedar tree, occasionally moving out into the dogwood. I never got a clear picture but the others did. I have included what I did take just for the record. A black and white warbler with prominent white tail spots, streaked flanks, black face patch with obvious yellow lore. Fed actively. Never heard it chip.
