Observation details
Continuing along the fishing pier as previously reported. The gull would spend up to 15 minutes flying back and forth along the pier, sometimes just above one's head; then it would fly out to sea for a short time, or disappear behind the marina before returning. Incredibly accommodating bird - almost needed my smaller lens it would get so close.
