Observation details
Small flycatcher with crested head, yellow belly, eyering more extensive at the back edge, wingbars, flicked its tail a couple of times. Photos. Found by Rob Thorn. Although first thought to be a late yellow-bellied, review of photos by taken by several observers determined it was a Pacific-slope/Cordilleran (Western) Flycatcher. Others present indicated that it appeared to respond when the Pacific-slope call was played. OBRC accepted Western for this bird.
