Tail displayed, rufous bill base visible, wings open
Observation details
Continuing rarity seen and photographed at last, thanks to private homeowner. Stuck to dark understory near Sages, challenged Munias when they entered the area. Buff belly visible when it nectared on yellow sages, rufous tail and dark back/breast diagnostic. Bill surprisingly had very little red showing.
