10,000-15,000 birds were massed together in a large black carpet in the center of the lake for the night. BNA: Though probably identified correctly, these birds are too far away to recognize the specific call-types given. (CAM - 4 March 2005). Other Behaviors: Establish Flock Contact. Habitat: Lake.
