An adult Grey Shrikethrush perching and calling occasionally.
Observation details
One calling, another feeding on ground then perching. Grey Shrikethrushes (Colluricincla harmonica) are widespread throughout Australia and have one of the most striking calls of any Australian bird. The Grey Shrikethrushes in the Tree in the Rock Picnic Area are confiding and allow people to approach them. This adult Grey Shrikethrush was perching on a twig on the edge of the picnic area.
