Observation details
In flooded field with 2 LEYE and 1 KILL. Embarrassingly, I had this wrong(had it as LESA) in field but I am blaming this on many things...not the least my broken binoculars, rain and uncooperative nature of the bird. Pictures tell a different story. The fact that it was similar in size to a KILL should have been my first clue. Bright yellow legs, heavy streaking on chest forming distinct band across breast, thicker beak then LESA with reddish base. Bright yellow legs...got a better picture later when I drove by.
