Observation details
Found by Jason Gregg. Small shorebird, smaller than/ similar size to nearby Sanderling, with which it was foraging. Longish, dark, decurved bill. Grey-brown back, light ventrum. Faint supercilium. Light brownish wash on upper breast. Foraging motion extremely fast, frenetic. Dark primaries visible even with closed wing. In flight, can see grey back color extending to triangular point in middle of tail, flanked by white both sides. Oddly, white feather sticking out from right wing when closed. Not sure what's going on there. Thought I saw a couple of darker feathers on the breast but difficult to say for sure. Pretty distant and pretty active most of the time. Have more/ better pics. Will try to upload this evening.
