Observation details

Watched it bathing and actively feeding, turning in circles and moving back and forth, in far part of pond. Non-breeding plumage. White face with black stripe going back from eye, white neck, breast and belly. Black stripe starting above forehead. Dark wings and back. Back had patchy appearance, not unmarked as in Red Phalarope.
