Solitary sandpiper along edge of beaver impoundment near Rakes Mill Pond.
Observation details
One individual observed (and photographed) feeding and wading along edge of a beaver impoundment upstream of the mill pond. I observed it probe several small grubs/worms from the pond edge. After approximately 5 minutes it flushed along with two other individuals and flew off upstream. All three individuals gave off the "weet weet" call as they flew off.
