Media notes
jip-jip call uttered at least 15 times in the clip. Possibility of a second bird present and calling, as well. This was a WAV format upload.
Observation details
Not seen, call recorded on one video clip, the "jip-jip" was heard low (1-2 ft high) from dense leafy vegetation along a jeep road. That road approaches the power line marsh west of the landfill, at the juncture of the two jeep trails near the east end of the marsh (just west of the cable across the main jeep road). The attached files are identical, all from the same single video clip. I'm trying to decide which one or two to include. The video does not show the bird, but it does show the habitat the bird was calling from. The audio suggests that 2 individuals were actually present and calling. The audio that includes the video does not show the sonagram, hence the need to include at least one audio-only file.
