Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
Observation details
Great spot Mike! Mottled black & white overall with no red. Messy ladder back. Large white lateral stripe. More white than Red-naped. Crown speckled whitish and not black like Red-naped. There was a tinge of yellow at bottom of belly in some photos. Working its way around a tree, not fightened.
