Observation details
Incredible. Continuing 1st North American record. Today, it first appeared around 8:22 AM, and was either in sight or audible for most of the next few hours. The bird simply moved up and down behind the wooden fence, eating (and beating) insect larvae, singing loudly (audio recordings made) and actively chasing other birds out of its trees (including Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Blackpoll Warbler, etc). Huge bill and long, thin tail made for an unusual shape. Photos and audio.
