Observation details
My local area birding friend Barry Mantell corrected me on this ID when we birded my golf course on 4-23-16. I almost originally recorded this bird originally as a MacGillivray's Warbler but I thought maybe the neck area I could not see might be yellow, and Nashville Warblers are more common. Barry pointed out to me that a Nashville has a very prominent complete White-eye ring. This bird has a somewhat broker white-eye ring, which is more indicative of a MacGillivrey's Warbler. That, and the fact that I also I can't see in these pictures a whitish area near the lower rump area has me changing this bird''s ID to a Macgillivray's Warbler.
