Observation details
MEGA. Potential ABA First. Continuing in same location near entrance to park. Stocky vireo with obvious large eye, tear-drop white/yellow behind eye and pale yellow lores. Large, horn-colored hooked bill. Creamy yellow below, grayish above. Thin wing bars on greater and median coverts. Scraggly tail. Observed low in canopy and at top of trees. Followed butterflies, and eventually caught one and ate it. Singing early in day. Recording made.
