After arriving the bird was located again in the inner branches of a Monterey Cypress and was wet and preening. there was a group of about 10 birders present at the time and the bird moved up in the tree and was lost for a while. It was soon found along a fence line that ran north/south between two high school ball fields. By this time about 15 people present and most all took photos of the bird. This was a large flycatcher big billed Myiarchus flycatcher, It was lemon-yellow below with a gray breast and throat, and a brownish back and crown. The next most notable feature was the reddish tail and inner primaries, and two pale wingbars. The large black bill was extensively pale at the base and the legs, feet, and eye appeared dark (black). The bird was silent. (photos and video)
