Observation details
Estimate. The most prevalent duck in this large flock. Many breeding plumage females showing large white crescent patches between eye and bill. This had me thinking for a moment that they were Blue-winged Teal, but careful review of photos proved it was a much more homogeneous group. Very active, diving and sparring and taking off for short flights.
