Observation details
Kurrichane Thrushes (Turdus libonyana) are found in thornveld, savanna, woodland and riverine forest. Kurrichane Thrushes mainly eat small invertebrates that they catch on the ground by tossing leaf litter aside to reveal their prey. This Thrush was foraging the grounds of the Berg-en-Dal Restcamp in southern Kruger National Park.
