Observation details
Was here around 10am and saw the bird well. Returned with my wife and scope this afternoon where we joined a group who were searching for the bird. Somehow it got behind us where it was teed-up on a white sign at the top of the dune. Everyone got great views before it flew down to the ground and moved to a nearby driftwood tree. Gray back, wing tips and end of tail black, white rump visible when it flies. Flanks show cinnamon blush but rest of ventral surface appeared tan to me. Head has distinct white supercillium, faint split white eyeing, long, fine black bill. In general impression behaves like and looks a little like a Eastern Bluebird.
