Observation details
I have photos from more than 1 hour apart. Meaning we saw small flocks on the water at least twice. Possibly they were the same 14 or so birds, but maybe not. I have conservatively counted this observation as the 14 that I got all in one shot. We often flush small flocks of Phalaropes as we sail along, and sometimes they fly ahead of us to land on the water again, and get flushed again as we sail near them, over and over.
